Jackpot Candle Review & Giveaway

Have you ever heard of Jackpot Candles? They don't have independent consultants like Jewelry in Candles or JewelScent, but their products are similar! With their 100% soy hand poured candles, which are also made in the USA, comes a bonus surprise piece of jewelry of your choice! What could be better than a hidden piece of jewelry in your candle than being able to choose the jewelry type; earrings, necklace, rings 6, 7, 8, or 9. We all know how upsetting it is to get that one BEAUTIFUL piece of jewelry that doesn't fit on our finger.

That said, when I was given the opportunity to review a candle of my choice, with my choice of jewelry, from Jackpot Candles I definitely jumped at that opportunity. Who wouldn't?

Well I received it a couple days later, they said it would be the following day, and I received it two days after! So prompt shipping times, no long waits like with some companies.

Here is how the inside packaging looked.

Inside of that was the watermelon candle I chose with bubble wrap, that's the fun part! The sheet of bubble wrap, wraps around the whole candle and then some for a nice added protection.

This is the important part. The bottom of the candle should tell you what jewelry you chose, I chose a size 9 ring because that's what fits my ring finger. It also gives you a disclaimer, instructions, and a warning on the label.

Now for the LONGEST....WAIT....EVER, burning the candle. The watermelon scent is literally like watermelon ChapStick. Perfect in every way, subtle, but very easy to tell what it is.

Look, we are almost there. If you look close enough you can see the darker toned foil with the jewelry in it!

....and the moment we have all been waiting for! The reveal! The foil is glued to the side of the glass candle jar which contains the jewelry in it. Upon unwrapping the foil, there is a little "pill pouch" baggy that contains the surprise jewelry.

The jewelry has finally been revealed, but first, the "secret code." The code is on the tag that the piece of jewelry contains. This is important, you must log onto appraisal on the Jackpot Candles site, enter the code and find out what your jewelry is worth!

Our beautiful red ring was worth $18. This is great! Isn't it convenient that they allow you to check the appraisal of your jewelry without the hassle of having to leave your home and go to a jewelry store? I think so.

The final reveal. I love it. Usually a size 9 fits a little snug, so that it wouldn't fall off when doing daily things, but this one ran a little bigger than normal. Either that, or my finger went on a diet. On a more serious note, the ring is a beautiful red diamond with a cutout band.

  12. That is such a tough choice. Couldn't decide between sweet pea, birthday cake, or banana nut bread. I think if I had to choose I guess it would be sweet pea.
